I take the time to dig deep into each site i work with and try to give an honest review. Offcourse, i don’t have the money to buy subscriptions to each site, nor do i have the money to buy each 3D and VR headset/TV/hardware available on the market.
This being said, i do try to be as open minded, fair and transparent about my process as i can humanly be.
Here are the criteria i judge a site on. Each criterium goes from 0 stars to 5 stars. I then take the average of the outcome for the actual review score:
updates
Do these sites offer regular updates?
- more than 2 updates/week (on average): 5 stars
- 2 updates/week (on average): 4 stars
- 1 update/week (on average): 3 stars
- >1 update/month (on average): 2 stars
- >1 update/3 months (on average): 1 star
- no updates anymore (site is more of an active archive than anything else): 0 stars
browseability
I test the site with my Vivaldi browser, my chromium, my android cellphone,… and see if it’s browseable. I mean: can i find what i’m looking for, do i have to scroll a lot, is it mobile friendly,…?
Offcourse, it’s hard to give “exact” limits, but the more browseable i find the site, the more stars it get
overall impression
This basically boils down to the question would i, a middle aged man, be tempted to join this site?
- i’m actually a member or thinking about joining: 5 stars
- i would defenatly like to join if i had enough money for a dozen porn subscriptions: 4 stars
- not really my cup of tea, but i know a lot of guys that would join: 3 stars
- i’m not really tempted and know nobody that would join right away, but the site does have a certain appeal: 2 stars
- i would not join and i have no idear if anybody would join this site (ever): 1 star
- why is this site even online? The way it looks, the way it browses,… nobody will ever join this site, i’m supprised it’s still in business: 0 stars
price/quality ratio
the subscription price is one thing… But the price per minute of video is something completely different. Also, a minute of movie grade high quality VR porn might not be equal to a minute of low quality anaglyph porn. This rating is more subjective, but it’s still more or less quantifyable. The more porn in the database (not counting future updates) * the quality of the porn / the monthly price = the number of stars
unique content
you might, or you might not know this… But there’s a big business behind porn. Porn gets created by porn studio’s and gets sold as a commodity between paysites. Personally, i think a site with a unique vision that produces their own porn should be rated higher than a site that’s basically a box-mover (buying porn from a reseller and selling it on their site without ever shooting anything themselves).
- all unique + unique concept + high quality: 5 stars
- all unique + unique concept or high quality: 4 stars
- mostly unique, mostly unique concept and reasonable quality: 3 stars
- purchased content, but still a good concept and reasonable quality: 2 stars
- purchased content, “mainstream” concept and moderate quality: 1 star
- a boxmover that just buys low quality VR or 3D porn and resells it: 0 stars
amount of porn
A lot of these sites give discounts if you join 3, 6 or 12 months… That’s all fine, but do they have enough content to keep you entertained for a full year?
- you can watch 2 VR/3D porn movies each day for a full year: 5 stars
- you can watch 1 VR/3D porn movie each day for a full year: 4 stars
- you can watch >3 VR/3D porn movies each week for a full year: 3 stars
- you can watch >1 VR/3D porn movie each week for a full year: 2 stars
- you can watch >2 VR/3D porn movies each month for a full year: 1 star
- you cannot even watch 2 VR/3D porn movies each month for a full year: 0 stars
